The public areas have been designed with the disabled in mind and are all easily accessible by wheelchair.  There are plenty of ramps (without steep gradients!!)  allowing easy access to the pool area and to the road etc. (Our pool has a hoist to lower and elevate you whenever you feel like a dip). A boat trip to Fontana Amaroza is also possible, there is also a hoist for wheelchair users who feel brave enough to dip into the sea. The village square is an easy 4 minute roll away and the beach takes approximately 15 minutes.  As you can see in the above right hand picture, the pavements of Polis are somehow suitable but upon reaching the end, you may not find a ramp. But since the roads are not busy, it is not so dangerous to simply stay on the roadBoth routes to village square and the beach are wheelchair friendly.

The reason I appear in most of the photos is not because I may be photogenic, but to ensure you that I have tested the "situations" personally - as a wheelchair user, you will understand exactly what I mean.
