offers warm welcome to all
A new holiday centre
which caters for disabled guests and their carers and families has opened in
Polis,
Cyprus.
The purpose – built
accommodation and activities, specially designed to suit the requirements of
the less mobile holidaymaker is now available. The user-friendly C & A
Tourist Apartments are fully accessible to wheelchair users with roll in
showers, a swimming pool hoist and raised sun lounges. In addition, a full
selection of equipment including manual and electric wheelchairs, power
scooters, shower commodes and electric hoists can be hired. A specially
converted minibus service is also available offering convenient transfers.
There are plenty of
opportunities for activity and adventure with a number of adapted excursions
on offer including swimming in the sea, scuba diving, horse riding and
parasailing. The Cyprus Tourism Organisation also offers materials such as
nature tail guides that detail accessible routes that can be navigated on
wheelchairs for those wishing to explore the countryside.
