A NEW purpose-built holiday centre for disabled guests and their carers has opened in Cyprus, offering a full range of equipment and activities for less able travellers.
The C&A Apartments have been developed by Chris Neophytou, who says he used his own “experience and knowledge as a disabled person to create the perfect holiday place.”
The apartments are fully accessible to wheelchair users, with roll-in showers, a special swimming pool hoist and even raised sunbeds.
The property also offers transport using a specially converted minibus and equipment including manual and electric wheelchairs, power scooters and shower commodes.
Neophytou said there were plenty of opportunities for activity and adventure, with adapted excursions including ocean swimming, scuba diving, horse riding and parasailing.
